Men’s Ministry Retreat

3-Day Duck Hunt

Navajo Dam, New Mexico | January 13-17, 2027

This Men’s Ministry Retreat is about building and strengthening brotherhood among men who are committed to following Jesus, sharing the gospel, and discipling others. While duck hunting is part of the experience, the true purpose of the trip is fellowship—creating space for meaningful conversation, prayer, and encouragement. Stepping away from everyday distractions allows us to deepen relationships and grow together as men. This trip will be hosted by Jack Denny (The Greeting Call) and Dane LePlatt of Discipleship Adventures.

Liability: All participants will be required to sign a liability waiver at sign-in. Participants must be at least 18 years old for this event.

Hunting: We will hunt waterfowl on both public and private land on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Each participant is required to bring their own gear (listed below). Anticipate hiking into hunting locations. This is not a “guided” hunt, but will be led to locations by Dane and other volunteers.

Meals: Provided Wednesday night, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday morning. If you’d like to help with cooking, let us know in advance.

Travel: Plane ticket details will be shared at a later date, estimated cost is $400 and not covered by your ticket to the retreat*
